The new compact Nokia 3710 fold mobile phone which measures 89 x 47 x 15.2 mm and weighs 94 grams is expected to hit Europe market by Q4 2009 for around EUR 140.

The Nokia E71x is an easy phone to recommend for business users looking for a powerful device in an attractive, slim shell. It's one of the better smartphones on the market, and certainly its near the top of AT&T's lineup. The interface could use a serious overhaul to make it more convenient, intuitive and downright pretty, and AT&T did little to improve this phone from the unlocked Nokia E71 besides adding a raft of trial software and carrier-specific extras.
Still, the phone does a very good job at nearly everything, with e-mail, Web browsing and call handling as standouts. At twice the price, this would be a good choice, but with a starting bid of $100, we think AT&T and Nokia have a winner on their hands. Release: May 2009. Price: $100.

Nokia says the new Nokia 6265 is its most feature-rich CDMA phone to date. It has a large 240x320 display, a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, digital music player, Bluetooth, a mini SD memory slot.

Nokia offers two new music phones, Facebook applications
Nokia, lagging behind Apple Inc.’s iPhone on applications, unveiled new devices that will let users do more on Facebook and get greater access to music.
The world’s largest mobile-phone maker unveiled the N97 mini, a cheaper version of its top-end phone that will allow users to post their location on Facebook.
It also announced two new music phones, the X6 and X3, and pledged to form more partnerships with software companies.
According to Bloomberg News, Nokia had 45 percent of the smart-phone market in the second quarter, researcher Gartner Inc. said. That’s down from 62 percent in 2005. Smart-phone sales are estimated to increase 27 percent to 170 million units bringing in revenue of $57 billion this year, it said.
Users look to smart phones for content including movies, video, pictures, Web sites, Facebook and other features. Apple has more than 50,000 applications available for all iPhone and iPod Touch models.
Nokia’s new N97 mini will come with “social location” capabilities, permitting users to post their locations in Facebook status updates along with geographically linked photos and local content, Nokia said. The software makes it easier for users to produce and consume information about places.
The N97 mini has a suggested sale price of $639.
The music phones offer bundled unlimited music services in some markets.

UPDATED: Rumor Mill: Nokia expanding at T-Mobile
Nokia's North American troubles are well documented, but it appears the company may be looking to expand its 3G efforts at T-Mobile USA.
According to FCC documents unearthed by Phone Scoop, the commission has approved a clamshell phone, called the Nokia 3710a, with support for T-Mobile's 3G UMTS network in the 1700 MHz band. T-Mobile has not announced the device.
In other Nokia news, The Nokia Blog posted a tip from a source who claimed to have spoken with Nokia spokesman Joseph Gallo about Nokia's new Linux-based smartphone, the N900. The tipster said Gallo had confirmed a version of the N900 with 850/1900/2100 MHz support, which would align with AT&T Mobility's 3G network.
However, Gallo told FierceWireless that no such plans have been announced. "Regarding the Nokia N900, we have announced a tri-band WCDMA version that utilizes the 900/1700/2100 MHz networks," he said. "There have been no announcements regarding a version that supports the 850/1900/2100MHz bands."
